  Fresh applications are hereby invited from the intending candidates as per Assam Gazette

Part-IX (Standard Form) for appointment of "Gaon Pradhan" against the concerned

lots of 4 (Four) Revenue Circles of this District indicated below.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have the following qualifications:-

# The applicant should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area

in respect of which he/she seeks appointment.

# The applicant should be minimum 30 (Thirty) years of age and should be

minimum 10th pass from a Board/ Institution recognized by the State or Central

Government.

# The applicant should be physically fit and sound mind.

# The applicant should not have been declared insolvent or defaulter in payment

of Govt. dues. In this regard candidate should submit Bakijai clearance Certificate,

House Tax clearance Certificate & Land revenue payment receipt from the

concerned authorities.

# The applicant should not be a Government employee.

# The applicant should have landed property/immovable property in his/her name

in the area in which he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.

# The applicant should not be a member of any Political party.

# The applicant should have a high status and command and have a respectable

position in the society.

# The applicant should have worked/volunteered for advancement of the

Government policies and programmes and rendered assistance in natural

calamities.

# The applicant should not have more than 2 (Two) living children from a single or

multiple parents provided that this provision should not be applicable in respect

of those candidates who have more than 2 (Two) children prior to the date of

coming into force of the Govt. Notification No. RLR .187/2007/Pt/24 dated 19/07/

2019 published in the Assam Gazette on 02/08/2019 hence the effect of the

Notification is 02/08/2019.

# The applicant should furnish an affidavit at the time of submission of application

declaring that he/she has not more than 2 (Two) living children from a single or

multiple parents.

Incomplete/ overwritten applications will be summarily rejected and no application

will be received after 5:00 P.M. of 07/10/2021.

How to Apply for Gaon Gradhan Vacancy 

The approved lots in respect of 4 (Four) Revenue Circles are available with the

Circle Officer concerned. Intending candidates may obtain the same from the

concerned Circle Office. The application form duly filled in along with self attested

copies of required documents and 2 (Two) copies of recent passport size photograph

should be submitted to the concerned Circle Officer in his/her Office during Office

hours from 17/09/2021 to 07/10/2021.
